Robertstown U16 LGFA produced an unbelievable performance at home against Athgarvan

From the opening whistle, Robertstown set the tone with intensity, determination and some excellent football. Their attacking play was particularly impressive, with some outstanding scores finding the back of the net and the posts throughout the game.

Robertstown’s defence also deserves huge credit, working tirelessly to limit Athgarvan’s opportunities and ensuring that the home side remained firmly in control. The teamwork and commitment shown across the pitch were evident as Robertstown continued to build on their lead.

The second half saw Robertstown maintain their high standards, continuing to move the ball well and create chances. Their relentless attacking pressure resulted in further scores as they capped off a remarkable team performance.

The final whistle confirmed a 6-16 to 2-3 victory for Robertstown, bringing an impressive performance to a close.

It was a fantastic display from the entire Robertstown U16 squad, with every player contributing to what was a memorable home performance. The result reflected the hard work, teamwork and determination shown throughout the game.

A brilliant day for Robertstown LGFA, and a performance the team can be extremely proud of.
